What We Do:
From behavioral biochemistry to engineering and design, laboratory research to field studies, the College of Science and Engineering offers students a spectrum of opportunity. They gain experience through co-authoring peer-reviewed publications or participating in cutting-edge research projects like the search for evidence of life on Mars and removing impurities from fossil and renewable fuels. This is revolutionary work and we are honored to have dedicated and motivated students looking to change the world.
Fostering a lifelong curiosity of science is students of color, women, undergraduate, and graduate students, is one main facet of the College of Science and Engineering. Encouraging scientific exploration is made possible by the many contributions to departmental programs, as well as accessory programs that allow for hands-on experience with research, companies, conferences and more. The College of Science and Engineering would appreciate support to these necessary programs to best prepare students to meet the skilled workforce.
The Positive Mind, Positive Future Scholarship supports students who are making an exceptional effort in remedial math, with a preference to those who are first generation and have financial need.
