Dear generous donors,

Thank you for your support of the College of Science and Engineering’s “Supporting Black Students in STEM Scholarship!” Thanks to you, we’re excited to announce that we have exceeded our initial goal of $25,000! That means the fund is endowed and will live on in perpetuity to support many, many students for years to come. Thank you for establishing a legacy of support for Black students within the college.

We’re in the process of outlining criteria and a system for awarding the scholarship. We will be sure to share those updates. Also, please stay tuned for information on our continued efforts to raise money for this important fund. We’ve reached our initial goal, but the work is not done; we hope to support as many students as possible.

In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Amber Asbjornsen with questions or comments at Amber.Asbjornsen@wwu.edu or (360) 650-3616.

Thank you for supporting this critical initiative – we couldn’t have gotten here without you.
