We are happy to announce the Ruth cox Scholarship recipient of the year is Secondary Education / ESJ / Latin American Studies major, Yulisa Fernandez-Frausto! Yulisa is set to graduate in fall of 2022 now that she has the funding support she needs to get there. Thank you for your support in memorial of Ruth and helping the next generation of change makers in the classroom.
With the goal of doubling the rewards scholarship well underway, Ali and Rory set their new goals: 1) continue to have real and meaningful impact in the form of direct annual scholarships, 2) ensure long term durability of the scholarship by establishing an endowment with the goal of reaching $50,000 by 2025.

The scholarship is featured in a “Microsoft GIVE Month Fundraiser”. This, in addition other direct support from family and friends, boosts the scholarship fund to new heights. Ali and Rory set a goal to double rewarded scholarship support for AY 2020-2021.
The first-ever Ruth S. Cox Memorial Scholars are announced. The scholars Carissa David and Alexia Blackman are pursing “Early Childhood Education” and “Elementary Education” and are very grateful.
