It is t-32 from the conference and I have 2 Big Updates:
1. We have selected 4 members who will represent Western at the FMA International Conference! They are: Olga Baykova, Josh Harrel, Russel Holden, and myself.
2. We just payed for our registration and flight tickets to New York City! Now we can get really excited.

Woah - $2400! We’ve crossed the 50% line of funding needed for this conference!
Our students met with BECU today and attended resume clinic that will further advance them on their career search - that's just one of the things we do at FMA (see photo).
At the end of this week, I will be able to choose four lucky students who get the opportunity to travel to New York City and go above and beyond their scholarship in finance. Thanks to your generous donation, I will be registering attendees and booking airfare early next week. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without you!

Thanks to the gracious donation from Holly D'Annunzio Consulting we are officially to $1,400 (only $2,600) remaining!
WWU is back in action after a long and chilly winter break, and we are looking forward to sharing this with the community and getting this project funded. The conference is shaping up to be an amazing experience, and with the current status we can officially purchase Alaska Airline flights for our students!
We just need the remaining $2,600 to fund the hotel and conference fees- we are almost there... thank you everyone for your support to date!
We are excited to mention that we are currently 8% complete! This means that we almost have full tuition covered for one student.. working our way towards flights.
Next steps will be to identify some of our key New York alumni and hopefully setup a lunch... but we still need to get the project funded!
