Jeopardy Magazine is Western Washington University's undergraduate run literary and fine arts publication. Founded in 1963, the annual publication is currently in its 53rd edition and, over the course of its more than 50 year history, has striven to be a showcase of the unique talents of WWU students, staff, faculty, and alumni. We at Jeopardy hope to provide Western writers a professional place where they can be published, often for the first time, to help them share their stories and gain experience as they continue their writing pursuits.
The purpose behind this crowd funding campaign is to help us throw our annual release party within the Bellingham community. Over the past few years we have held our release party within Bellingham at local businesses, making the event welcoming and accessible to not only Western students, but to all of our valued readers. This year we hope to continue building Western's relationship with the city of Bellingham and offer the same professional and exciting evening for those who have been published in the book, as well as those eager to read it! Your support will go toward helping us afford our Bellingham venue for the event. Any additional funding will help us to provide food, posters, and decorations for the evening, as well as help us fund Jeopardy for the coming year!
Having your work published in a professional university magazine is an incredible opportunity, but being able to easily share that work with the surrounding community is even better. When a writer meets those that care about a book and will read their story, they get to see the true power of literature and art firsthand. So thank you so much for your support! Stay tuned for updates about our May 25th Release Party and our 53rd edition as we continue to work towards creating this year's Jeopardy!
