Hi, we are Western Washington University's Poetry Slam Team and we are very excited to be eligible to attend CUPSI for a second year in a row.
CUPSI is regarded as one of the largest poetry events in the United States, and it represents a unique opportunity to represent the abundant creativity and passion cultivated here in the Pacific Northwest. This being said, our biggest hurdles are economic. For the whole team to go, we've estimated $3,000 for the plane tickets and $700 for lodging. Any leftover donations we will put toward transportation in Houston and food in our tummies!
The Collegiate Union Poetry Slam Invitational is a multi-day poetry jamboree, but, even more importantly, it is a place where expression and art meet up from all over the country. We invite you to be a part of us leaving our mark!
