Who We Are:
We are the Viking Track and Field Sprint and Hurdle squad—fast and powerful athletes dedicated to achieving excellence both on and off the field. As a close-knit and dynamic group, we thrive on a culture of family, teamwork, and competitive spirit. This past year, we proved ourselves as key contributors to the success of the WWU Track and Field team, scoring a combined 70 points at the GNAC Indoor Championships and 103 points at the GNAC Outdoor Championships, helping secure first place in both! And, as we welcome some pretty incredible talent to our team this year, we know big things lie ahead for the Viking Sprint/Hurdle Crew!
Our Goal:
We’re raising funds to cover travel expenses for upcoming meets and to invest in new equipment. These resources will enable every sprinter on the team to perform at their best, ensuring they have the support and tools necessary to succeed.

Despite our remarkable achievements, our budget remains limited. To continue excelling, we need to provide our sprinters and hurdlers with the experiences and opportunities they deserve. Here’s how your donation can make a difference:
Our total Sprint/Hurdle fundraising goal is $18,000.

Your donation will go directly to supporting the sprinters and hurdlers on our team. Rather than distributing funds across our entire 136-member roster, your contribution will be streamlined to support your favorite Student-Athlete and their event group, the sprinter/hurdler squad. This means your donation will have a direct and tangible impact on the person you’re supporting!

This will subsidize per-diem given to Student-Athletes when they travel to cover the cost of meals.
This will approximately cover the cost of hotel accommodations for travel trips.
This will approximately cover the cost of a flight to one of our travel trips.
This will approximately cover the cost of 2 pairs of compression boots for recovery between our many track events. It will also unlock a bonus gear package for your favorite student-athlete!
This will cover the cost of one student athlete’s expenses for one of our elite travel trips.
This will approximately cover the full cost to bring the sprint crew to the Texas Relays.
