Wind Symphony to CBDNA
WWU Wind Symphony to CBDNA
The Western Washington University Wind Symphony has been selected to perform at the Western/Northwestern Bi-Annual College Band Directors National Association annual convention in March, 2026. The 50-member ensemble, under the leadership of Director of Bands Paul Bain with guest conductor and Dean of the College of Fine and Performing Arts Christopher Bianco, will be traveling to Reno, Nevada as a featured performing ensemble. Heralded as a prestigious invitational, the Western/Northwestern CBDNA conference invites eight ensembles from twelve states and four provinces through blind peer review. Ensembles perform for members of the association as exemplary music-makers at the collegiate level, recognizing outstanding student performers, leadership, and compositions featured at this event.
The Western Washington University Wind Symphony is proud to represent the Music Department, the College of Fine and Performing Arts, and Western Washington University at CDBNA!
