The Western Washington University Women’s Rugby team is thrilled to announce that after a dominant, undefeated 15s season, we are officially the 1st place champions of our Division 1 league! This victory is a testament to the dedication of our athletes and coaches, but our journey doesn't end here. By clinching the league title, we’ve earned our spot in the 15s postseason regional playoffs, and we are ready to represent the Vikings on the national stage.

While we’ve secured the title, our biggest challenges are still ahead. We’ve got a packed postseason schedule ahead of us:

• March 26–29: 15s Regionals at Stanford University in Palo Alto, CA
• April 11: 15s National Championships in Sacramento, CA (upon qualification)
• April 25–26: 7s National Championships in Indianapolis, IN

These trips will cost an average of $10,000 EACH to cover flights, hotels, and rental cars.

As regular contenders in this division, we were told at the beginning of our season that we would host the regional playoffs. As a result, we fundraised believing our travel costs would not be this extreme. With barely a month before playoffs, we were informed that Stanford would be hosting, leaving us with little time to prepare for the price of travel that has since skyrocketed. 

We need your help to get there! As a club sport, the financial weight of travel falls directly on our players. We work tirelessly to fundraise year-round, but the cost of competing on a national stage is significant.
