Thank you for supporting our undocumented students during WWU Give Day on June 1st. Together we raised $685!!! We couldn't have done it without you.
As we get ready to celebrate our graduating students, we want to thank those who have donated to the Undocumented Student Resource Fund and the Learning Without Borders Scholarship. Our graduating undocumented students are so excited to be starting a new chapter in their life. We know this would not be possible without your generous support. Statistics state that only about 2,000 undocumented students graduate from college each year. Thanks to your generous support, we continue to increase the number of undocumented students who graduate from Western.
Here is what a student who has benefitted from the Undocumented Student Resource Fund said, “It has taken the financial burden off my shoulder and will be going to help me graduate on time and succeed in my academics.”

Thank you so much to the generous donors who have supported undocumented students through this project. Your dollars have been a tremendous resource.
For example, the funds were used to pay for 2 students' DACA renewal fees and financial aid counselors are finalizing support for 9 undocumented students to help them stay in school and afford their tuition and housing.
As we anticipate loss of employment options for undocumented students, there is significant need to help these students with the basic costs of education and associated living expenses including food, housing, tuition and books. We appreciate your support and help spreading the word.
